Our Babbles & Books class is designed to help babies ages 6–18 months explore the building blocks of speech and language through songs, sensory play, and interactive stories. Led by an expert speech and language pathologist with years of experience, each session focuses on nurturing communication skills in a fun and engaging way. Through simple songs, rhymes, and hands-on activities, babies will strengthen their ability to listen, respond, and begin expressing themselves.

As we measure, mix, and experiment, kids will practice early literacy skills, sequencing, and basic math, all in a playful, hands-on way.

During Story 2 Stage explore the magic of storytelling, creative drama, and playwriting! Led by Liz Samuel of Montclair Story Salon, children will have the opportunity to act out scenes from their favorite stories, engage in theatre games and improvisational exercises, and begin to write their own plays as a class.
Along the way, they'll discover how to recognize and understand the language in a script, learning how dialogue and stage directions work to bring stories to life. By the end of the session, they’ll have created their own short play, ready to perform for the group. It’s a fun and imaginative way to develop confidence, creativity, and a love for storytelling!

Aventuras en Español – Spanish Immersion Class
5-8 years

This dynamic Spanish immersion class, offered in partnership with Chocolingua Academy, introduces young beginners (ages 5–8) to the Spanish language and the diverse cultures of Latin America and Spain through interactive and engaging activities. No prior experience in Spanish is necessary—all beginning levels are welcome!
​
Students will build basic vocabulary and conversational skills by participating in real-life scenarios, providing an authentic immersion experience. They will explore traditional stories, music, dance, art, and games from different Spanish-speaking countries, making language learning both meaningful and fun.
​
Each week features a unique theme, allowing children to learn Spanish naturally through hands-on experiences such as singing traditional songs, engaging in imaginative play, creating cultural crafts, and participating in interactive games.
​
The class concludes with a special celebration where students showcase their Spanish skills and the knowledge they’ve gained. Families are invited to join the final session to celebrate their child’s language and cultural journey!
